Size & Layout
Document size in your layout program must be the same as the final trimmed size. All live matter must be kept a minimum of 1/4" from trim edges. Bleeds must extend 1/4-inch beyond trim edge. Multi-page documents should be set up in sequential order. Panel sizes must be designed to fold correctly. Please call us if you are unsure of panel sizes.
Colors, Fonts & Images
Do not use the bold or italic buttons for page layout and be sure to convert all RGB files to CMYK. B&W files must be one-color bitmap or grayscale. Graphics should have a resolution of 300 dpi at 100%.
File Formats & Additional Information
Acceptable file formats include .tif, .eps, .pdf, and .jpg (low-resolution). Unacceptable formats will be converted at the hourly pre-press rate. Please indicate if your job will print with spot colors. Ruling must be set to 1/4-point.
Submitting Files
Before submission, native files must be set up according to our pre-press requirements. Please save PDFs using the "Press Quality" setting in CMYK color mode, not RGB. They must include crop marks and bleeds. Acceptable media for file submission include CD/DVD, Zip, USB, and Firmware™ devices.
File Transmission via The Cloud
We have now moved away from ftp file transmissions. We have now gone to the cloud and placed a Drop Box on our website. If you have any files to transfer to us just go to the Drop Box page and click on start button. Call us for a password and you will be able to send us any file size you have.
